Purrrfectly Cute

Our little bundles of joy (well, most of the time hehe)
I took this as they were sooo cute cuddled up on the lounge :-D

We love both of our girls and there was a short period of where we were thinking of giving them up, but we just couldn't

Cheers

What do you get when you mix...

And some really good friends

There is even a drag queen in there somewhere but no picture was taken of her...

You get Trivia Night in Penrith :-D

For the past 2 weeks we have been heading out to Penrith for a trivia night, hosted by Portia Turbo. Wanting to have a more gay friendly atmosphere we were invited by Jye and Michael. The first week we came a close second and we got free $5 vouchers for the table Woot! The second week we came 3rd which was ok...so now that means this coming week we are coming first, that makes sense doesn't it??? Our team is called 'The Gay Professors' reason being for the 'smart' food and we wanted to make it more fun so we decided to dress up our table and ourselves :-D

It is quite a fun night out indeed, if your interested in coming let me know :-D

Ballet

Last Night we had tickets to go to the Ballet, at the Sydney Opera House. The tickets were given to us as gifts and it was fantastic! we saw Interplay which are 3 one act ballets and they were amazing productions. We had gone to the Ballet before a few months earlier and we saw Swan Lake, same deal they were gifts. I do love the ballet only ever being these two times, but it is something that i would love to go to more in the future.

Oh My God! Is this a Post???

Well well well...it looks like i am back in the game, with my first post since moving ito our beautiful new home :-D

We have had a bit of hassle with internet, one being that we couldn't just transfer our old account to this new house, the main problem being that Optus isn't connected to this area and that since they don't hire Telstra lines we were unable to get our account transferred over...

grr...

so this meant that right now we still have not got a home phone and we are now using Virgin wireless...

now that was a hassel...

when we did move Gerard rang virgin, they have a god deal, 30 day trial to give it ago...
so we were waiting for it to be delivered, and since we are both working no one was really home to sign for it, so it was about 3 or 4 times. Then we do find out that only Gerard can sign for it, the person who ordered the account...

grr...

so since i was home early most days gerard cancelled his account and i rang them to get exactly the same thing to the same address but it had to be a new package from WA to be sent over...
AHH!...

In the end i thought it woud be safe for the parcel to be delivered to work, as i was doing more hours...

so when i did ring them i told them the address of my work and they said 3 to 5 days...

One week passes...

I ring them (the delivery company)...

'Where is my package?' i ask...

'The address doesn't exist' they say...

'Oh,' i say so nicely. 'What address have you got?' They tell me...

Bloody Virgin wrote the wrong address didn't they...

AHHH!!!

It would be another 3 to 5 days to deliver the package. But oh well, its here in the end of it...

We are kinda happy about it but we shall see how we go.

So yes i am back and happy and am waiting to post more often. Everything is going very well indeed.

Moving...?

It looks like it could be a positive, so i'll just say it here too :-D
Gerard and i are wanting to move back in together, we think that it would be a good thing and we have discussed it thoroughly and we feel we are doing it for the right reasons. We will not be moving in together back into our old apartment, we have been searching for a place to live, a home, alas yes it is only renting but it will still be ok :-D

We may have found a place, funnily enough it is where i used to live with my mother and Denise :-D it was a nice home, good backyard, 3 bedroom, a bath (which is what Gerard was wanting) A good sized Kitchen (which is what i was wanting) a nice sized lounge room which is a bonus too.

At the moment things are still a little up in the air, but both of us have had phone calls to our boss/manager from the real estate people which i'm told is a good sign... so let's see how we go, and hopefully all goes well.

Something New

A New Vase!!!

I saw this in Bilpin...we went to set up for the Matinee on the Saturday and before hand, on every Saturday morning Bilpin has like a mini market, not huge but its nice and cosy. When we arrived and i entered, i had a look around and i saw this vase. It was the only thing in the whole place that was talking to me, to tell me to purchase it. It took me a while and i said, 'ok fine, i'll buy you'. At $10 it was a pretty good price, considering the guy who was selling it, i was told usually most of his things are very expensive... must have been my charming personality or stunning good looks to give me such a nice price, hehe :-P he was an old queen afterall, and i mean that with whole hearted goodness and not in a nasty way :-D

But isn't my Vase just beautiful :-D I have never owned one before so this is my first :-D

I Filled it with flowers, Gerberas which were my grandmothers favourites and also Iris which is Gerry's favourite...kinda bittersweet in the words of Gerard...hehe.

Cheers :-D

The Play

Well it's here :-D

We had our first performances over the weekend and they were tremendous successes everyone was doing oh so well and the audiences loved it :-D On Saturday we had someone from Canberra come up to see the play, which was very cool :-D

We have 3 more to go over the next two weeks :-D very exciting and hopefully word gets around and our audiences are full, that would be fantastic :-D

Just look at those costumes!!!

So did Denise and this guy there Brad :-D

So yes it is all very exciting!!! But i don't want it to end because this is probably the last play for the year :-(

The Director and President are going on holidays to france, so we will have no real way of doing a show without them...we could but it would just be more difficult...especially since we don't drive :-S and Bilpin is 30km up the road :-S

Oh well

Guess Who's Pregnant! (More for my fellow school students)

It has been so very long since we have both chatted, sure we have messaged each other throughout various times of the year and what not but, we haven't actually spoken. Well recently i have been thinking about her and so i thought i would at least send a message to say hi and let her know i still do think about her. Today she sends me a message back telling me she is pregnant. I was like, Oh my god! wow. I was at work so i had quite a good day after that.

So this evening i picked up the phone and gave her a call. My Amy is pregnant. 6 weeks in due about April/May.

I love my Amy, she was there for me at school and we both knew each other so well. We had so many good times together i loved her out going nature and her humor. She was and still is to me at least a beautiful person. Her smile, her laugh. I feel she would make a wonderful mother. She lives in Lismore with her man so i so want to go up and visit her, so close and yet so far.

I have told her to get a facebook or a blog or something to keep in touch with me and so many other people. Kristian (her partner) is apparently a computer savvy guy, but my Amy is not :-( she may try though i would love her to get online and see how everyone is doing.

Congartulations Amy and Kristian. I love you dearly and you will be a wonderful mother :-D

An Active Weekend

Well i had a pretty good weekend i must say.

Saturday afternoon, Lucas, Allen and I went down to Bensons Lane and played a bit of softball...well as mush as you can when the three of us are playing...What brought this on was the fact that i saw in the paper they were on Sunday enrolling people for competition softball for the new season. I used to play like 10 years ago and i said i would like to have a go again...so we all three were actually up for it and went down to have a bit of a play...we are all out of shape mind you but it was still good fun...i even surprised myself to know that i still have a good arm on me to throw a ball pretty far :-D and hit it too, heheh :-D

So yeah...on the Sunday...i wasn't to sure what i was going to do...i went down to Bensons Lane and i signed up for softball. It was kind of exciting, me doing my own thing :-D...though i have to wait and see what the next week or so brings as the team that i would be under, the seniors grade (20 years and over) could either be a mens or a mixed team. All depends how many people sign up. Hopefully ther will be enough in the team im in and alos with the other teams. I would be returning with the Richmond Bombers :-D

I think this is exciting, getting out on a saturday afternoon to have some fun :-D...but alas the first match falls on our Theatre Matinee of The Lion In Winter...which is a bugger, but after that my Saturdays are free :-D

Also on Sunday we went Ice Skating. It was so much fun, its a shame Gerard had to work, it would have been interesting to see him on the ice :-D
I was doing so very well too, Ryan helped me out and so did Danielle and Lil Scotty :-D thanks guys :-D and i only had one stack and that was on my back which wasn't to nice :-S

But it was a great and active weekend :-D i loved it :-D

New Work Hours

Well i have just recently started my new work hours for the Reject Shop. I don't mind them, it can be nice, especially when i finish early in the day :-D at least i don't have to worry about doing returns in the afternoon and what not :-D

I have these new hours as i am the ticketing person. I ticket the store so that no one should ask me how much a product is, do you know how annoying that can be, especailly when people complain about it right in front of me and i tell them that i am the one who does the tickets...they don;t care...

Anyways i my hours are as follows

Monday - 7-4
Tuseday - 7-3
Wednesday - 7-11
Thursday - 7-3
Friday - 7-4

I really love it its palondronic too :-D

Getting Stoned... :-P

Well i have some recent additions to my jewellery collection. Purchased by Gerard who bought these for me before going to Brissy from the funeral. I have been wearing them constantly.

First of all we have the Gold Sunstone, it is supposed to help with achieving goals and also
  • Give you extra energy when you are ill or under stress
  • Stimulate sexual arousal and increase sexual energy
  • Increase self-healing power
  • Promotes harmony among the organs functions

Sunstone stimulates your personal power of attraction.

Then we have the rose quartz bracelet

  • Rose quartz is known as the love stone
  • Strong healer of the heart
  • Makes an excellent friendship gift
  • Fertility crystal
  • Encourages helpfulness, self-love, romance, ability to love
  • Fulfillment of essential needs
I love my stones, i have been feeling better since wearing them a lot. Thank you Mr Gerard for purchasing them for me when i needed them, and still do. They shall be and feel like are helping me through this period :-D

The Night of the Jungle Party

claustrophobic

Relating to or suffering from claustrophobia.

Uncomfortably closed or hemmed in.

Usage Problem
Tending to induce claustrophobia; uncomfortably confined or crowded: a claustrophobic little room.

anxiety
A state of uneasiness and apprehension, as about future uncertainties.

A cause of anxiety: For some people, air travel is a real anxiety.

Psychiatry
A state of apprehension, uncertainty, and fear resulting from the anticipation of a realistic or fantasized threatening event or situation, often impairing physical and psychological functioning.I have thought about it, recently...and i have thought about it before in the past.

____________________________________________________________

Last night there was eagerly anticipated Jungle Party. I was excited about this and was for a while, until it came to the actual party evening.
In the past i wasn't to overly worried about these parties...but this one i knew would be very different, and the obvious factor is that i was not with Gerard as my partner.
Previously in the past i have always had him to go up to and hug and hold and just cuddle up to him and i knew that i was safe and everything was going to be ok no matter what happened. Mind you nothing in the past has drastically happened but it was nice for him to just be there when i needed him, which was a regular thing. But this night, (i had rang Gerard earlier in the day and let him know) Gerard had told me that he would still be there for me, he would walk me home like he used to in the days of old before we were partners and what not. I said ok and although still feeling uneasy about it all i ended up going.

This is where the definitions come in.

There have been certain times in the past especially at Scott's house where i have felt claustrophobic and have had very minor anxiety attacks. I remember one time i just wanted to get up and leave, for no apparent reason to anyone else i just stood up and let a couple of people know i was leaving, there was just to much happening around me and in my head i was screaming to go so i did without hesitation. Another time when is when we were both leaving and there in his hallway and kitchen i just could not move literally (Ihate that hallway!), i was holding Gerard's hand which made me feel oh so much better and safe.

Last night there were quite a few people there, i think the usual amount plus a few more for one of Scott's major parties. I tried saying to myself the time i was there that i was going to be ok. When i first arrived i tried to mingle about said hi to everyone like i usually do...when i got to the lounge room i plonked myself down on the couch...in the corner no less, (bad luke bad! *slaps hand*) worst thing i could do especially with something that i could hug, that being the monkey, as me hugging something incessantly in scenarios like that (also pillows are like that too) means although im not totally comfortable i still enjoy looking around and viewing the area. But then more people came around me in the lounge room...towering over me sometimes...and also just watching everyone drink...people said i should have more, but in the state i was in i thought it best not to...would have made it worse. Also the noise level of people and the music, it was getting way to much for me...also watching Gerard go about and just being himself and more with everyone else...yeah. I decided to get out downstairs fresh air...well as fresh as it can be with the smokers down there...so that being the case i went for a walk. I didn't come back...i couldn't. I didn't want to go back there. My night was over, i was fine with that...i didn't say goodbye to anyone at the party though except for most likely Geoff. Sorry about that.

I enjoyed the party while i was there, don't get me wrong. But i just wasn't ready for it...ready to be there as a single guy. I was just very uneasy about certain things and with so many people, i was crowded.

The definitions i gave, they are somewhat, i think i suffer from, not majorly mind you but in minor details.

Or i could be just carzy :-D

Cheers

Luke

Hello

Well, here I am.

I have been gone for some time... things have changed and are changing...the year so far has been a whirlwind 2 significant things that have happened in my life thus far is well as you may have noticed, Gerard and I have separated but we do both feel that one day we will get back together sometime in the future :-)

The other as of late is with the passing of my Grandmother at the age of 75 she passed away on the 21st June 2008. It was unexpected. Both Gerard and I travelled up to Brisbane for the Funeral, Gerard agreed to go with me when I asked and all I can say is that I was ever so happy that he was there, he kept me grounded and was there for me at every moment. Least to say now that the entire family relatives and friends know about my sexual orientation (as I was with Gerard most of the time holding his hand and hugging him) which i don't mind. I was pleased with everything in Brisbane, i had created the Program for the Funeral and put together a slide show of photos of Grandmother. Everyone liked it. I also got up at the funeral and read some things from the bible which i was fine with and i was also a pallbearer which was most difficult to do and the song she left to was Looking Forward and Looking Back by Slim Dusty.

So Yeah...

There has been some difficult times in the first 6 months of this year...so here I am, waiting for the Great in 08 to hit me on the bum and say hello...

Cheers

Luke
